Paige Sheffield L.Ac.
Classical East Asian Medicine &
Ecological Healthcare

Paige merges the ancient wisdom of East Asian medicine with a modern understanding of how these seemingly simple interventions create real, lasting health and vitality for her patients. Acupuncture is not medicine you have to take on faith. A broad and growing evidence base now supports what East Asian medicine has done for thousands of years, create vibrant health for patients suffering with disease.
Modern research is supporting acupuncture’s role as a valid and useful addition into modern medical practice every day. It’s why your local PT does dry needling or your massage therapist may now offer cupping or scraping, techniques rooted in East Asian medicine, but sadly without full training in this ancient, holistic system.
Paige is guided by a tradition that recorded the ways of well regulated, healthy people over 2,000 years ago. Principles that still help us maintain a healthy body, mind and spirit today. Nothing and no one is separate from nature. Yin and yang, and the five elements of wood, fire, earth, metal, and water, exist within each of us and show up in the body in countless ways.
At Pocatello Creek Acupuncture, you’ll learn to see your symptoms through this lens, not as problems to silence, but as your body’s own language, communicating what it needs. We are part of nature’s rhythms and cycles, and working with Paige helps you reconnect with the intelligence already at work in your body.
Her treatments combine acupuncture, moxabuxion, cupping and botanical medicine to balance the body’s internal landscape, addressing root causes rather than just symptoms, and awakening the body’s own regenerative capacity. In her treatment room, you’ll learn to access the wisdom your body has been offering you all along. This approach fosters true bodily autonomy: reacquainting you with your body’s natural rhythms and freeing you from dependence on medical models that can, over time, undermine your body’s own intelligence and flow. Her practice is bespoke and low-volume by design: fewer patients, deeper relationships, medicine built for the long season rather than the quick fix. She is committed to the health of her community and reserves 25% of her practice to sliding scale patients with financial need. Please enquire to be entered into this program.
